Mapping the Brain: Probes iwht Tiny LEDS Shed Light on Neural Pathways

U-M researchers have built and tested neural probes that hold the smallest implantable LEDs on silicon probes ever made. These probes could lead to breakthroughs in the understanding and treatment of neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's.

A Lifetime of Work in Signal Processing

Alfred Hero, R. Jamison and Betty Williams Professor of Engineering, received the 2015 IEEE Signal Processing Society Award for contributions to the field of statistical signal and image processing and for sustained service to the Society.

San Diego Alumni Connect and Celebrate
