Travel to Ann Arbor

If traveling by air, you should fly into Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) which is a 25-minute drive from Ann Arbor. We suggest you arrive Friday evening, June 20, in time for the informal gathering at Top of the Park (Events Page)

Metered taxi service from DTW to Ann Arbor is about $50 plus tip.

The most inexpensive way to get from DTW to Ann Arbor is the AirRide service operated by the AATA (Ann Arbor Transit Authority). They have trips scheduled regularly throughout the day and a round-trip advance reservation is $22. At DTW departures are from the McNamara Terminal, International Arrivals Level and from the North Terminal Ground Transportation Center. The bus brings you to the Blake Transit Center downtown, which is a short taxi ride (or a long walk) to the conference hotels.
View schedule and make reservations at the AirRide website
